WGA Opening Day

WGA OPENING DAY DATE: Saturday, April 4 TIME: AM Shotgun ENTRY FEE: No fee for WGA 18-Hole members. $25 for non-members ELIGIBILITY: Open to WGA 18-Hole League Members and all Full Club Members for an added fee PRIZES: Team Gross & Net FORMAT: SHAMBLE (Team Format – Non-postable round) A shamble combines elements of a scramble with elements of regular stroke play. Teams are made up of A, B, C, & D players as determined by the Golf Shop. Like in a scramble, all members of the team tee off and the best drive of the four tee shots is selected. Must use two drives per player. All players move their balls to the spot of the best drive (within one club length and no closer to the hole in the same conditions). From this point, the hole is played out at stroke play, with all members of the team playing their own ball into the hole. Team score on each hole is ONE best gross score and ONE best net score. Same player's score cannot count twice on any one hole. DEADLINE: 7 days prior to the event

BIRDIES & BREWS DATE: Wednesday, April 8 TIME: 5 PM Shotgun ELIGIBILITY: Open to all Members FORMAT: Four-player scramble. Members may form their own teams. The course will be set up as a 9-hole par 3 course for the competition. Food and Beer stations will be stationed throughout the golf course. Open to Men and Women. ENTRY FEE: $50.00 per player (Social Member $80 per player). Includes Food & Beer on the Golf Course DEADLINE: 7 days prior to the event

Green Jacket Sweeps

GREEN JACKET SWEEPS DATE: Saturday, April 11 TIME: Tee Times FORMAT: Individual stroke play with your regular round of golf, players will be teamed via blind draw with a pro in the Masters. Team score will be the Member's Saturday net score plus the Saturday & Sunday scores from the first Major of the year for their pro partner. ELIGIBILITY: Open to all Full Golf Members ENTRY FEE: $10 DEADLINE: Sign up on first tee on April 11

Men's President's Cup Entry Deadline

MEN'S PRESIDENT'S CUP ENTRY DEADLINE DATE: April18​ ENTRY FEE: $40 ELIGIBILITY: Open to all Full Golf Members PRIZES: Winner - 50%; Runner-up - 30%; Semi-finalists - 10% each OPEN TO: First 64 sign-ups RULES: Each match must be played by the deadline date for that round. Participants can agree to an earlier date, but not a later date. If only one player shows for a scheduled match, that player will advance to the next round. If neither player shows for a match by the deadline date, then both will be eliminated. The next round player will receive a bye. Participants will receive Challenger Series points based on their seeded flight. Flight 1 participants will receive a choice of gross or net Challenger Series points. Flights 2 through 4 will receive net Challenger Series Points for each match won. Anyone receiving a first-round bye will NOT be awarded 50 Challenger Series points. Forfeit winners after the first round will receive Challenger Series points. FORMAT: Match play with strokes given off the lowest handicap player. Participants will initially be placed into one of four flights according to their April 18 handicap index. *ALL PLAY IS FROM THE WHITE TEES. HANDICAP: Handicap for each match will use your course handicap from the white tees as of the day of the match being played. All matches will stroke off of the low handicap.
